Day Charter timetable
For the day Charter, all Boats will have to depart and return to the Harbor according to their fixed "Day charter timetable".
If a customer wishes to be picked up or dropped off at a specific meeting point around the Island of Sint-Maarten / St-Martin, or another island (St Barts / Anguilla) it will need to be requested in advance and organized by Ultimate Yachting.
Please include in your request the pick-up and drop-off time and locations and let us know early enough so we can accommodate your request. This service will come at extra fees.
Clearance & Immigration taxes
Clearance fees & Immigration taxes are not included in the total price, the clearance &immigration fees are as following :
From St Maarten to St Barts : 20€/$ per pers.
From St Maarten to Anguilla : 45€/$ per pers.
From St Barts to Anguilla : 45€/$ per pers.
In order to prepare your clearance & immigration forms to/from Anguilla and St Barths, a copy of your valid passports is required and needs to be received at least 24 hours prior to your departure time (48hrs before is recommended).
Original of your valid passports is mandatory on board in order to leave the dock to your destination.
Failure to provide the required documents will lead to a cancellation of your trip without any refund possible.
Credit card fees
To secure your booking, our team will send you an email to confirm all the details of your upcoming trip. In the same email, you will have a payment link so you can pay the deposit and the balance due with all major credit cards.
4% of fees (cc fees) will be applied to each payment.
Cancellation Policy
- 20% deposit is required for reservation, this deposit will be lost in case of cancellation within 15 days before departure
- 50% will be charged if you cancel less than 48 hours before departure
- 100% will be charged if you cancel within 24 hours before departure
- Full amount will be charged in case of NO-show.
- In case of bad weather conditions, your trip will be rescheduled if possible or fully refunded if the captain takes the decision that it is unsafe to go out at sea.
- Weather and Ocean conditions can change very quickly and in the event of not being able to leave the marina, a full refund will be offered via the method of payment less the CC fees. This also applies in the case of Ultimate Yachting having to cancel the charter due to a technical issue.
- All our captains have authority to terminate any charter before or during the scheduled charter if the behavior of passengers poses any risk to their own safety, the safety of the boat or other charter guests. No refund will be issued to anyone directly involved.
- Your boat is booked for the agreed duration at the agreed price. If the late arrival to the meeting point of guests delays the departure of your charter, the boat will return to the dock at the scheduled drop-off time, regardless of actual charter duration.
- 48hr Cancellation policy. We understand that unexpected things happen that are sometimes out of your control. We ask that if you have to cancel, give us at least a 48hr notice. Otherwise we reserve the right to keep the deposit if we cannot agree on an alternative charter date. A 4% CC processing fee will be withheld on any Refunds given under our cancellation policy. The cancellation policy does not apply on special events.
- All Clearance & immigration taxes already paid will not be refunded in case of cancellation where Ultimate Yachting is not responsible.
Special events
A 50% deposit will be required to book any boats for a special event such as the Poker Run, Anguilla day, August Monday, … the deposit will be refunded ONLY with a week (7 days) prior notice and confirmation.
A 4% CC processing fee will be withheld on any refunds.
Lunch on board
Depending on your preference, we can reserve a table at a restaurant, order a caterer (if requested 48 hrs before) or you can also bring your own lunch to eat on board. Ultimate Yachting will not be responsible for any delays if a lunch reservation is made at a third party restaurant.
Island Transfers
Private inter-island transfers are booked and organized based on the landing time communicated at the time of the booking. In the event of a flight delay greater than one hour and less than three hours landing at Juliana Airport, delay fees will apply for boat transfer. The boat transfer may be delayed depending on the boat availability and subject to extra cost (night rate) if the flight landed after 4 PM. In case of flight delay greater than three hours, the boat transfer will be considered as a No-Show, canceled, non-exchangeable, non-refundable.
Gratuities (tips)
Service charges are NOT included in the price of your trip. The amount to tip is entirely at your discretion, and if you feel you have received great service from the crew throughout the charter, then by all means, reward them for all their hard work. Conversely, if you are in any way disappointed with the level of service you have received then the tip should reflect that.
It is customary for any tipping to take place at the end of the charter and to be presented to the captain who will then divide it among the crew.
The Captain and crew tips are preferred to be in cash, at the end of charter.
